Choosing my new counter-top.

Counter-tops come in many colors and materials deciding which material will be important, so take into consideration the level of maintenance you are willing to maintain. Granite is a natural stone, which has a beauty unmatched by man-made products. Care will be key to keeping your granite looking good, avoiding stains and regular maintenance will be necessary to protect Granite. Quartz is also natural product with a little less  character, giving you the best of stone products glued together with polymers making it imperious to bacteria, and very low maintenance.Corian is also a good choice which is also low maintenance. Glass,Paperstone, and Concrete are considered Eco friendly choices with minimal maintenance when sealed properly. Post- form counter-tops made of Formica  for the budget minded individual also are low maintenance. Marble is a good choice if you do a lot of baking, but remember this is a high maintenance counter-top material .
